Early access — community operations, aligned

Community operations aligned in HubSpot.

Common Meridian helps nonprofits, associations, churches, camps, schools, and community organizations manage memberships, donations, registrations, payments, and member self-service — while keeping HubSpot as the primary source of truth.

For organizations using HubSpot — or moving away from disconnected membership, donor, and event tools.

The problem

Your community activity is scattered across too many systems.

Many organizations use HubSpot for CRM, email, segmentation, and reporting, but still rely on disconnected tools for memberships, donations, events, classes, and payment processing. That often means duplicate contacts, missing renewal history, manual exports, confusing reports, and member data trapped outside the CRM.

01

Disconnected records

Memberships, donations, registrations, and payments often live in separate platforms, making it hard to see the full relationship with each person.

02

Manual reporting

Staff spend too much time reconciling spreadsheets, exports, payment data, and event lists before they can answer basic questions.

03

Fragmented member experience

Members and donors may have separate logins, separate forms, separate receipts, and no simple way to manage their own information.

How it works

How Common Meridian works.

  1. STEP 01

    Connect HubSpot

Common Meridian provisions the required properties, objects, workflows, and sync settings where possible.

  2. STEP 02

    Connect your website

Start with the WordPress plugin, then expand later to hosted portals and embedded forms.

  3. STEP 03

    Accept community transactions

Members join, donors give, and participants register through Common Meridian-powered forms and portals.

  4. STEP 04

    HubSpot as source of truth

Contacts, membership status, donations, registrations, payments, and reporting stay connected in HubSpot.

Product concept

One customer-facing layer. One CRM source of truth.

Common Meridian provides the secure transaction and identity layer between your public website and HubSpot. People can join, renew, donate, register, pay, and update their information through Common Meridian-powered forms and portals. Behind the scenes, Common Meridian writes clean, structured activity back into HubSpot so staff can use the CRM they already know.

Three core modules

Start with the essentials. Grow module by module.

Module 01

Membership management

Let people join, renew, update their profile, view their status, and access member-only experiences. Common Meridian can track membership levels, expiration dates, renewals, grace periods, and payment history while syncing structured membership records into HubSpot.

  • New member signup
  • Renewal payments
  • Active / expired status
  • Member dashboard
  • Member-only access rules
  • HubSpot contact and membership records
Module 02

Donations and recurring giving

Accept one-time and recurring donations through clean, secure giving forms. Donation activity can be connected to the donor's HubSpot contact record, supporting better segmentation, acknowledgement, reporting, and relationship history.

  • One-time donations
  • Recurring donations
  • Campaign or fund designation
  • Donation receipts
  • Donor history
  • HubSpot giving records
Module 03

Simple event registration

Publish simple events, accept free or paid registrations, track capacity, and connect attendance data back to HubSpot. This early module creates the foundation for future class, course, camp, and program registration management.

  • Event listings
  • Registration forms
  • Paid or free registration
  • Capacity limits
  • Attendee records
  • HubSpot event and registration reporting
Platform context

What is HubSpot?

HubSpot™ is a CRM — a Customer Relationship Management platform. In plain terms, it's software that helps organizations keep track of the people they serve, communicate with them, and run marketing, sales, and service from one shared place.

Marketing, email, and service together

HubSpot's platform unites marketing, sales, and customer service teams so they can send emails, run campaigns, track interactions, and support people from a single record.

Trusted at scale

According to HubSpot's own homepage, more than 299,000 customers in over 135 countries use the platform — including eBay, DoorDash, Reddit, Tripadvisor, and Eventbrite.

How Common Meridian extends it

Common Meridian adds a member-facing transaction and identity layer on top of HubSpot™. Where HubSpot is built for marketing leads and customers, Common Meridian helps community organizations use that same HubSpot foundation for their Members, Guests, and Donors.

HubSpot™ customers include:eBayDoorDashRedditTripadvisorEventbrite

Common Meridian is an independent third-party tool that integrates with existing or new HubSpot™ accounts. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by HubSpot, Inc.

HubSpot · Source of truth

Built around HubSpot, not beside it.

Common Meridian is designed for organizations that want HubSpot to remain the central place for staff workflows, automation, segmentation, and reporting. Instead of locking valuable relationship data inside another standalone platform, Common Meridian helps customer-facing transactions become useful HubSpot records.

Unified contact records

See membership status, donation history, registration activity, payment history, and engagement context connected to the same person.

HubSpot-powered workflows

Trigger renewal reminders, donation receipts, registration confirmations, staff notifications, and follow-up campaigns from HubSpot.

Cleaner segmentation

Build lists based on active members, lapsed members, recurring donors, event participants, families, program interests, and more.

Board-ready reporting

Report on members, revenue, donations, registrations, renewals, and engagement without stitching together multiple exports.

Delivery surfaces

Start with WordPress. Built as a SaaS platform.

Common Meridian will begin with a WordPress plugin because many nonprofits and associations already run their public websites on WordPress. The plugin will provide login, member dashboards, donation forms, event registration, and gated content. But Common Meridian itself is a standalone SaaS platform with its own secure API, database, authentication system, payment processing logic, background jobs, and HubSpot sync engine.

Available first

WordPress plugin

  • Add login and account pages
  • Display membership, donation, and event forms
  • Gate content based on Common Meridian access rules

Note. Optional WordPress shadow accounts can be created only when needed for LMS, forums, WooCommerce, BuddyBoss, LearnDash, bbPress, or other WordPress-native plugins.

On the roadmap

Hosted portal & embedded forms

  • Hosted account center outside WordPress
  • Embeddable forms for any CMS
  • Secure customer-facing dashboard
  • Direct connection to HubSpot and payment processors
Why this is different

Not another disconnected platform.

Many membership, donor, and event tools become another place where important relationship data gets trapped. Common Meridian is being designed differently: the customer-facing experience lives in Common Meridian, but the organization's relationship history, workflows, lists, and reporting stay centered in HubSpot.

Standalone tools
  • Separate logins
  • Separate reports
  • Manual exports
  • Duplicate contacts
  • Data trapped outside the CRM
Common Meridian
  • Unified member/donor/registrant login
  • HubSpot contact matching and creation
  • Structured membership, donation, and registration records
  • HubSpot workflow triggers
  • Board-ready reporting from the CRM
Result
  • Cleaner data
  • Better staff workflows
  • Better member experience
  • Less manual reconciliation
  • One shared relationship history
